Hey! I've been looking through your recipes to find some good food to make (I'm having a bit of a challenge finding good meals over here in England). I can't wait to try this one! I also love the tale you tell with the recipe. I can picture your strategically placed flour hair :) The paragraph about the metaphor of relationships to dough- it's poetry!

Good catch Nick! For all my readers, please note that I use TB as shorthand for Tablespoon, and T as shorthand for Teaspoon. I'll try and post that note somewhere central on my blog for all to see. So glad you enjoyed the Banana Bread. Any butterflies?

I was missing the taste of home, and for some reason the Germans just don't eat banana bread. As I reference your blog from time to time, I read this recipe and it jumped out at me. I decided to try it tonight, and with some painstaking effort converting measurements and temperatures, I finally ended up with a delicious late-evening snack/dessert, replete with honey butter. The only real problem I encountered, was interpreting your "T" abbreviation. At first, I assumed a big T would be a tablespoon, until the TB specified for the orange zest and butter threw me off. After checking a couple other recipes, I realized you must be designating T for teaspoon, am I right?

Banana bread and Nutella! This sounds delicious, I need to try this asap. Several things you've mentioned I'd like to check out, like that Spanish cheese, Cabrales. I have yet to try a recipe but I'm looking forward to trying the Roast Chicken one. Also, great photos. Btw, Nutella packaged in a glass jar tastes even better than those in the plastic ones. The glass jars are difficult to find in the States but available through some food importers. I really enjoy reading your blog, your passion for good food is obvious. :)
